1 Package Swerve Sweets Yellow Cake Mix (You could use a different brand; however, I like this one because it is low sugar)
3 Eggs
1/3cup Apple Cider
1/3cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce
1tbsp Vanilla Extract
1tsp Cinnamon
1/2tsp Nutmeg
1/8tsp Ground Cloves
Frosting Ingredients
1/2cup Butter, room temperature
2 1/2cup Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener, powdered (Can sub with regular powdered sugar)
2tbsp Milk of choice
1tsp Vanilla Extract
2tsp Orange Zest
1/4tsp Cinnamon
1pinch Nutmeg

Cake Instructions
Preheat oven to 350*F and prepare an 8x8 baking dish with non-stick spray or parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, apple cider, applesauce, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Add in the cake mix, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves and combine.
Pour into the baking dish and bake for 25-32 minutes. You may need a few additional minutes depending on your oven. The applesauce will make it extra moist, resulting in slightly longer baking time.
Let cool completely.
Frosting Instructions
In an electric stand mixer, add the butter and mix on low for 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
Slowly add in the powdered sugar until it becomes a frosting consistency.
Add in the milk, vanilla extract, orange zest, and cinnamon until combined.
Frost the cake once the cake is cooled. Using an offset spatula, make swoops in the frosting to get a textured look.
