Description

It’s almost July, which means it’s getting hot outside as we near the middle of summer! Watermelon is the classic summer fruit, and always cut up and ready to go at my house. I had some leftover one day and happened to have mint and limes on hand as well, so I figured I would give this refreshing drink a try instead of just eating cubed watermelon, like I always do. And let me tell you, this drink is the epitome of summer. It’s cold, a little sweet, fresh, and hydrating! While this recipe is alcohol-free, I do have another version coming soon for those who would like to indulge in an adult beverage on a hot summer day. Stay tuned, but in the meantime, make this Watermelon Refresher to cool off.

Ingredients
  • 8 cup Seedless Watermelon, cubed
  • 1 Lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 2 1/2 cup Ice
Instructions
    1. Add the watermelon to a blender and blend until liquid.
    2. Next, add in the lime juice and mint and blend until combined.
    3. Lastly, add in the ice and blend completely until it is a slushy texture.
    4. Garnish with lime or mint, if desired.
