I like to think of galettes as a ‘rustic pie’. It has a similar dough, and a fruit filling, but just appears more rustic, and it is also quicker and arguably easier to make! What I love most about this galette, is that there are simple and clean ingredients involved. Just looking at the recipe, it may seem like there is a lot of ingredients and steps, but I can promise you that it is a heck of a lot easier than you may think. It all comes together in less than 2 hours, and you can serve it warm or room temperature, whichever you prefer.
