The Basil Garlic Aioli was such a huge hit in our house that I had to use it again on a different sandwich! It’s quick and easy to make, which is perfect for a filling and satisfying lunch. As I’ve said before, the bread you choose can really make or break a good sandwich, so be sure to choose something you personally enjoy and can withhold all the goodness packed in between those two pieces of bread. Sandwiches are super versatile, and you can sub in and out what you like! Don’t skip out on the Basil Garlic Aioli though, because that’s the best part.

Ingredients
    Oven Roasted Turkey Sandwich Ingredients
  • 4 Slices of good sandwich bread, such as sourdough
  • 4 oz Sliced turkey breast
  • 2 Slices of provolone cheese (Or cheese of choice)
  • 4 Slices of heirloom tomatoes (Can use regular tomatoes)
  • Red Onions, sliced (As much as you want)
  • 1/2 cup Mixed greens
  • Basil Garlic Aioli (Recipe Below)
  • Basil Garlic Aioli
  • 1 tbsp Mayo
  • 1/2 tbsp Nonfat Greek Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Basil Garlic Aioli Instructions
    1. In a small bowl add all of the ingredients and mix until combined.

  2. Oven Roasted Turkey Sandwich Instructions
    1. Generously spread each piece of bread with the Basil Garlic Aioli.
    2. Layer the turkey, provolone cheese, heirloom tomatoes, onions, and mixed greens on the bottom piece of bread, and top with the other slice.
    3. Slice in half and serve!
