Description

Figs are so underrated. They can be slightly hard to come by in the store sometimes, but when they are available, I always like to pick some up for this recipe and to snack on. If you’re unfamiliar with figs, they are a soft fruit that is perfectly sweet and a little sour. They make the perfect pair with goat cheese and honey, and you’ll find that out once you make this recipe! And you can’t forget the added crunch from the candied pecans, which are arguably the best part. Not only do figs taste good, but they are also a beautiful fruit and photograph stunningly. They’re dark and dramatic but have a bright and fresh flavor. Next time you need a quick and easy appetizer or snack, you’ll want to give this one a try.
